Seclusion Room Makeover

In the past Seclusion rooms have been used to punish children who lose self control when deprived of liberty. In the future seclusion rooms will be used to help kids learn to relax or exercise before they get in trouble. These rooms will need comfortable furnishings, such as pillows stuffed animals and blankets. So I will be working to get the word out about Autistics Are Peaceful's Seclusion Room Makeover event. From now until the end of December we will be asking that people inform schools and donate items to schools. I hope to make 2017 the year of the seclusion room makeover and show pictures.

Please help, even just sharing this could save a child's life

Thank you

  1. Not all autistics are peaceful. I'm autistic and I am definitely NOT always peaceful, and I know some other autistics you were not peaceful under most circumstances (or under any circumstance is). Autism, after all, isn't sainthood.
